No one expects to have to cancel their vacation. Our vendor partners (cruise lines, tour companies, resorts, etc....) all have different deposit, final payment, and cancellation requirements and penalties. Information concerning your vacation, including penalties and restrictions, should be reviewed. You may find the actual terms and conditions on the vendors' website or in their brochure. It is your responsibility to be aware of the potential cancellation penalties.

Significant time and effort has gone into helping you plan your vacation package. We know you are looking forward to your trip and we are excited for you. Unfortunately, sometimes a trip has to be cancelled. We charge an Administrative Service Fee for cancellations after reservations have been made and deposited. This is in addition to any cancellation fees charged by the cruise line or land vendor. Our Administrative Service Fee for cancellations is as follows:

The Administrative / Cancellation Fee may be applied to the final payment of any comparably priced cruise or land vacation package reserved and deposited through Vacations by Design @ Hartford Holidays within 30 days of the cancellation date. Vacations by Design @ Hartford Holidays highly recommends Trip Protection and Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment in the event of an unexpected situation.
